A note before a dive into my work with Talulah feels relevant here. Talulah Ruby is a Musician, born and raised in Lanzarote, now living in London. Talulah’s approach to her music is extremely conceptual and so we’ve ensured her personal styling sits in the same lane. She’s inspired by her mountainous home town of Lanzarote and Mediterranean architecture. Her EP ‘Hyperdrive’ is an electronic, folk-like project drawing upon futuristic themes and grounded by elements of naturalism. The aim with her styling is to pull from conceptual emerging designers or archive pieces that treat their garments like pieces of architecture and natural formations themselves. We coined the first look as fitting for a “queen of the sand dunes’’.
